Product description

The most basic shelter solution: light, simple, and remarkably versatile.

A tarp provides essential weather protection but still allows you to feel fully “outdoors.” Indeed, there are those who prefer tarp camping, in all weather conditions, precisely because of that feeling. And how much of that “feeling” you indulge in is up to you, since our tarp’s “shape” is limited only by imagination and pitching materials. Combine a tarp with our Bivanorak, and you get remarkable weather protection at an incredibly low weight.

A tarp can also add a new dimension to tent camping: Pitch a tarp over the tent’s entrance, and you have a breezy patio, or build a tarp kitchen away from your campsite for greater safety in bear country.

Material: Kerlon XP
Size: 3,5 x 3,0 m

There are rings and long lines with line runners tied on. Stuff bag is sewn on to the tarp.

The approximate size of the packed product or the sales package is 300 x 250 x 100 mm.

I use the tarp with a 2-person tent, and it is a very suitable size for that. Quality material.

The guide rope was attached, it was lightweight and compact, and it was as I imagined.

Excellent, durable tarp. I chose the heavier tarp over the ultralight version as I may need the tarp for other uses such as constructing sturdy shelters, or as an emergency stretcher. The main drawbacks with this tarp is the very high price, and also the amount of guylines are limited. Some similar sized tarps have an additional line or grommet on each side to add greater flexibility in pitching. Nevertheless, I chose the tarp for the brand name, and hope it will be a good fit with a 2 or 3 person Hilleberg tent (not decided which) I plan to purchase later for 4 season use.

Passel porch for tent. I also think light enough.

I had 10UL like a solo, but I added XP because the light blocking effect is low. I made it green. The color is also good. I used Varust.net for the first time this time, but with domestic mail order I could use it with the same feeling. I would like to continue using it in the future.

Already the second tarp from Hilleberg, best quality, very practical storage bag sewn on, very good guy rope, good instructions for versatile use from the emergency tent to the roof.

Very good and durable need with more than 5 years of user experience. One star off the price.

Hilleberg quality. My bike can't fit in a tent, so it requires my own seat. String knots neatly.not with thread.

For once, a tarper that is easy to tighten easily and adjust as needed. There are no pack sizes between this and the UL version, presumably XP is somewhat bigger, but now not at least too big for a kayak hiker.
