I have used a reserve for military training shoes for the past two months. The first impression of the shoes was quite high quality. The shoe fit the foot well and looked light, even though it was all leather and thick-soled. I put on the shoes for the so-called operationally large military exercise, which was held in early September in a large garrison in eastern Finland. The shoes are very suitable for moving in varied terrain. The shoes didn’t sweat or rub any feet. The properties of the shoes in particular came to the fore in the transitions, where they had to walk long distances on bumpy gravel roads. The shoes lasted relatively well, but at the end of the workout I noticed relatively small wear at their tips, which had apparently occurred just when walking on gravel roads. The second time I wore shoes in a demanding exercise where we, along with other authorities, had to search for a missing person and direct traffic on a busy street, in the center of a city. At that time, the shoes showed real features being very comfortable on foot and standing on asphalt. The musculoskeletal system did not hurt during the several hours of demanding exercise at all. I recommend the shoe especially to those who want the shoe to work in as many environments as possible. In particular, the shoe can be recommended to, for example, police officers, Defense Forces and Border Guard personnel who work in such an urban street environment. as in forest terrain.
