I bought mine four years ago from a local dealer. As soon as the first summer, the gluing of the housing of the second rib pontoon tore from the bottom. The frame went under repair, apparently. I didn’t mind taking up the serial number to check if the same frame came back. Since then, both side pontoons have individually lost their design and the other began to leak. Both have been replaced with newer ones, most recently last fall. Whether it was damage caused by incorrect storage of the supply chain, no information or otherwise bad pontoons ...
Otherwise excellent and very well suited for its purpose (inland hiking). When paddling alone, you should use a kayak-style paddle. Cleaning Tips: When landing, disassemble the pontoons and rinse in water if they are dirty, especially the bottom pontoon. Wipe off spilled water with a sponge or cloth. Allow the canoe to dry, but not in scorching sunshine, Vacuum the housings, etc. with a brush nozzle when they are full dry. This is the easiest way to get rid of sand.
Personally, I keep the canoe straight, wrapped in a tarpaulin on the garage floor, and only assemble it shortly before the trip.
