Peltonen Metsä Step skis for deep snow. Wooden body of the ski is strong and tough so they are durable.

Ok skis, but Järvinen's similar ones have a better scale base that holds better.
I ordered two Peltonen Metsä Step skis (210,230).
There was no delivery of longer skis, despite Varuste.net's promises, so if a situation arises during the delivery of your order that the product will be delivered within 3-30 days, I recommend buying the product elsewhere at the same time, so you may receive your product on time.

The base starts to wear out surprisingly quickly (soft plastic) and the downside is that you can't really lubricate it. Otherwise, a light, sturdy and easy-to-ski ski with a good hard plastic "edge", which gives you extra grip when plowing, for example. Suomu also works well, you can climb gentle hills just by skiing.

Been driving for one winter. It's good to ski in the open in a field or on lake ice. I've put a little quick skid on the scale area to improve the glide, because with a 90 kg weight on 210 cm skis, the scale area is maybe a bit too long or the ski is loose.
They are not very agile in challenging forest terrain in a thick forest, and the lack of steel sides can be challenging on a hard hilly forest.

They do have an excellent effect on the skis, even when crossing ditches, I haven't had to stay and fumble across them, but just ski straight over them, and they don't dive into the snow, but rise well to the surface. They felt quite heavy, so that's a small minus, although I don't think the weight hinders skiing. I ordered 270 long and I am satisfied that there is length in the skis.
