Metalsubin 50W HID is indeed a fully qualified lamp - that is, if a bright lamp
retrieves, then it is certainly from the brightest end. I myself have been
that lamp is now in use for the last ~ 25 dives and bad things to say
it is not.

By myself, the package is built so that the battery has bottles (double-sevens +
wing) between the back and the cable leaves the battery down and enters the armpit
from the bottom of the hand with the light head attached to the Goodman Handle. Not me at least
would need a longer cable i.e. that is just the right length. To our knowledge
unfortunately longer cables are not made.

A plate that can be bolted is available as an accessory for attaching the battery
between the doubles, but for myself the battery "chuck" that comes in the package is
attached to the edge of the other bottle (i.e. with the battery approximately in the middle
back) with a basic weight belt. Has stuck really well. That is, that placenta
actually comes in the package and can be attached either to the bottle or to the belt -
each in style, both ways work well. From the chuck the battery gets fast and
easily removed.
With my double-seven (300bar) package, I don’t need any extra weights anymore, so
even the weight belt could be omitted when the luminaire was purchased.
