Gerber Ripstop Combo

The combo was a positive surprise. The tool was a stiff act, not groaning or nits. Spring-assisted pliers work very well. Wharncliffe knife blades are well suited for precision cuts, unlike Leatherman knife blades. The only negatives I found were the knife framelock had sharp colds that can be easily hurt. But with a file, it was cleared up. The downside to the tool was the shortness of the scissors. For some tools, the shortness may be negative. Gerber tool pliers are excellent, but small hands can make it difficult to use pliers when the open handles are surprisingly far apart. In short: Not a Leatherman quality, but a high quality combo that comes in a very stylish box.
