A climbing shoe devised for long mountain routes and cracks: its technical features make this model an complete newcomer to the market! TC Pro guarantees maximum comfort even after several hours thanks to the soft internal padding at the ankle and back. Features include high cut uppers designed to protect the ankle from rubbing against cracks. The front rubber rand offers further protection in the cracks, while the lacing system to the toe has been studded to protect the laces against rock fiction. The uppers and tongue are extremely breathable which enhances comfort. TC Pro uses the P3 patent system, designed to maintain the arched shape of the shoe even after continued use. The sole, made from the new Vibram® compound, reduces deformation on small and sharp cutting holds.

— Show originalGood all-purpose shoes, very comfortable on the foot, also protect the ankle bones from bumps. Surprisingly accurate also on lists. The flap under the recording wants to fold at the edges when you put it on your foot, because it was sewn only at the tip - this helps when you open the straps properly when you put it on your foot. The advantage of the structure is that the shoe is easy to dry / ventilate when lifting the flap makes the shoe very open.| Overall rating |

I was looking for a really comfy shoe for multi-pitches (6a-6c range, vertical non-overhang) with an acceptable heel fit, and the TC Pro aces both requirements. I have rather wide feet + a noticeable hallux, which makes a lot of climbing shoes extremely uncomfortable - but the overall geometry is able to accommodate that nicely. I think the only down side is that the rubber is really thick and it may initially feel a bit like you are on the wall with a set of clogs, but one gets used to that & it may not be too bad when you are for hours in the wall. My feet regularly died when going multi-pitching with, e.g. Pythons or Futuras. The climbing shoe is a little bit like the perfect mix between Katanas and Mythos.

Larger ones are especially suitable for cracks and are more comfortable for longer all-day routes, etc. Smaller ones, on the other hand, work better for lists where those big ones don’t work. I already have three pairs and would still make sense to buy one smaller one. Rub the little one's foot and ankle but not until the problem. It would be nice if those were a little wider than the last. A tight size would then go better on the leg. The heel fit is good.| Overall rating |
