The reflector directs and reflects the light of your Petromax lamp downwardly. Hence many advantages result thereof: when the lamp is installed in an elevated position, for instance upon the lantern hanger, the light does not get lost. Therefore, the lamp can illuminate wide areas in a very efficient way. If looked upon from above the Petromax lamp the reflector will work as a glare protection.
