I have never felt warm in urethane-based rubber boots, even though they claim to be able to withstand temperatures as low as -40c. But these boots can easily withstand temperatures as low as -20c with standard socks, and I believe they can withstand the claimed -40c with proper wool socks. The only downside to the boots is the weight, so that's a point off.

Really functional and very warm. Didn't get cold with one sock even in -20 degrees. As long as there's room for your feet to move. They are large.

Sturdy boot with a wide and spacious last, works great as an everyday boot on the farm. For fishing, trapping, hunting and skiing etc. I use Nokian Kaira
