The reinforced stretcher is a safety feature when hiking independently for several days because a breakage in the middle of a journey can quickly become problematic. Safety is worth this slight extra cost and extra weight.

Nice and strong shaft, not tested yet but seems stirdy enough to endure harsh conditions. It would be nice if it was possible to take it apart to store it inside the pulk for travel phases (it's a tiny bit larger than the pulk itself). But oveall good quality. Note : the shaft was not very protected during the transport, and suffered from light damages. Varuste agreed to send me a new one in exchange free of charge, which is nice. The 2nd was not very protected either, but arrived in better conditions.

Heavy but durable. The control of the battery works well.

A few hundred kilos of heavy ahkioo towed with these, worked flawlessly.

Looks very robust. In this case the rivers are not a problem since they can be replaced with plastic straps in case of repair.
