New updated 2008 version with new Vibram® sole. Added to the technical contents of the 2007 version, the advantages which come from the Impact Brake System is the reduction of impact on terrain and maximum grip on any type of surface both in traction and in braking. It adopts the ankle 3D Flex System multidirectional joint which ensures ankle support and mobility in all directions. Thanks to its characteristics and to the new sole, this model is ideal for walking off trails on rough terrain, difficult trekking and walking with heavy loads. It is available in a women’s version based on studies of the female foot’s morphology.

— Show original — Show originalI have to say it really went to my feet like a sock. Never before has any shoe felt so good right from the start. Contrary to all the advice, I went from that stand to a week's hike to Saariselkä without putting on either shoe. The shoe was really good on the foot all the time (otherwise you shouldn't tie the straps at the ankle too tight). The shoes held the water perfectly and no blisters came even though for most of the rest of our gang they appeared. This can no longer cure the shoe. (Lesti felt that for a really wide-legged shoe it might not work just as well ...)Opinions
