Since synthetic fibres absorb very little moisture and cannot become lumpy, their insulating properties remain intact, even when wet. They are therefore the best solution for rainy climates, winter conditions and in combination with waterproof bivouac bags. Over the past 50 years, synthetic fibres have constantly been developed and improved. The new generation of fibres is strong yet flexible, with the advantages of light weight and a pleasantly soft feel – qualities that compare favorably with downfillings. The secret lies not in the fibres themselves, but in their composition and mixing ratio. This fact, combined with the careful processing of extra-fine individual layers, makes Ajungilak sleeping bags unique.
