These are not Xenon bulbs at all, just basic incandescent bulbs with a filament. The name of the product is completely false and misleading, but the burner itself works and burns and lights up the space, so three stars for this.

An easy way to get a new life for an old loyal friend who will rock with you anytime, anywhere. Sure, you'll never get the light output of an LED, but it's not always intended to light up the whole neighbor's forest or disrupt the ISS's rotation in the sky. Really useful for the price.

The spare bulb of the traditional Mini Maglite AA is slightly brighter than usual. I have been using the Mini Maglite with an incandescent lamp since the 90's and these xenon bulbs currently on sale are brighter than the old ones. However, the light output is not in the LED class, but the light tone is good for the eye and suitable for reading, for example. Why use a traditional light bulb when LEDs were invented? In a traditional Maglite, a lamp replacement is usually sufficient for repair. If that’s not enough, all parts can be easily disassembled, cleaned and reassembled. If a modern LED lamp goes dark (very rarely), it can no longer be repaired by yourself. Note that a leaking battery is poison to Maglite and often freezes the battery so that it only leaves by hitting the mandrel through the light switch. First, of course, you can try soaking in CRC or WD40 for a week. That is why I have used downloadable Eneloops which are a sure choice. Suitable for the "old school" spirited hunter.
