Fiskars axe impresses with its ergonomic and lightweight design. Head and shaft are in perfect balance and ensure an efficient and safe chopping or splitting. The built-in axe head is unique. It is integrated in to the shaft, providing optimum security. The splitting axes have a sharp edge which bites easily in to the wood, which is then forced apart by the wedge. The all-round chopping axes have thinner and wider producing a clean, simple cut in fresh wood. Manufactured out of high quality Finnish steel which is easiy sharpened and ensures durability. The glass fibre reinforced polyamide (NyglassTM) shafts are virtually indestructible.
