Saimaa Kayaks' largest inflatable dropstitch-structured Expedition 3 is a rigid and the fastest and most directional stable model of inflatable kayaks for two or even three (two adults and a child or dog) people. The kayak's air tanks are made entirely of the dropstitch structure familiar from SUP boards, which is very rigid and durable due to the higher inflation pressure. With this structure, the high-quality Expedition 3 kayak is as close to the glide of hard kayaks as an inflatable kayak can be, because as little energy as possible is spent on the hull. A complete package with all the equipment ready for the water.

The Expedition 3 kayak's long waterline, narrower profile and two removable fins (middle and stern) keep the kayak in its proper direction. The hard plastic V-shaped bow and stern reinforcements further enhance stability, which also split waves better and make beaching easier by absorbing impacts. A handy raised splash guard on the bow cover helps keep waves out.

The kayak floor is covered on top with a durable EVA (cellular plastic) coating, which protects the floor and prevents slipping when getting in and out of the kayak. The edges of the kayak and the floor have their own air chambers, which brings safety to the water. The bow and stern covers are made colorful so that the kayak can be seen from afar in the waves. There is a drain valve in the bottom. The kayak has a load capacity of 240kg.

The seats are thicker than a regular fabric seat (4.5cm) and slightly cup-shaped on the sides, which provides additional support and comfort when paddling. The seat has good adjustments and galvanized quick-release fasteners. The footrests also have good adjustments and are adjustable to fit from a child to an adult. All quick-release fasteners and the kayak's integrated D-rings are galvanized aluminum.

The aluminum paddle with plastic blades is 220cm long and weighs 1050g. The paddle can be disassembled into four parts, so it packs into a small space. The paddle has three different blade angle adjustments and water runoff prevention on the shaft.
