The tire was created with Troy Brosnan and first aimed at dry-condition downhill racing, while the same tread pattern also performs well on more mixed trail surfaces.

In lighter constructions it suits everyday off-road riding where a supportive feel and low rolling resistance matter. It can be run on the front, rear, or as a matched pair depending on terrain and ride preference.
