Product description
EN 13537 -15 ºC comf, -20 ºC lim, -41 ºC ext

- Hard-bitten summit conquerors like Stefan Siegrist, who recently saw success on Thalay Sagar, are raving about Ajungilak’s premier down expedition line: «Thanks to the excellent water-repelling outer fabric, moisture from the snow gave us no trouble at all. The proven quality of the sleeping bag’s down and the lightness of its fabric material make it very warm yet incredibly compact when packed. Small yet important details made our life
easier – the Altitude Extreme is now my favorite.»

-Hot-head hood for optimum protection from the cold in the head area.
- Twin-layer foot box for extra warmth
- Max. size: 195 cm

- OUTER FABRIC: Shelter TX:
A hydrophobic (water-repellent), yet breathable lightweight outer fabric with a water column rating of 2000 mm.
- INNER FABRIC: MLT-Speedlight:
Arguably the lightest high-performance sleeping bag fabric you can get. The perfect choice if you need compressibility, durability and low weight.
- ZIPPERS: l180
- CONSTRUCTION: Wave-Box; Wave shaped baffles prevent any slippage of the down and stop cold spots from forming.
- FILLING: 95 / 5 Goose down, 780+ cuin:
This is 95% first-class goose down (not plucked from live birds) with a fillpower of at least 780 cubic inches per ounce. This level of quality guarantees long-lasting performance and optimum compression. Ajungilak down specifications are regularly checked and confirmed by the independent testing laboratory IDFL Europe.
When it comes to pack size and weight, down is still the only natural product that cannot be replaced by synthetic fibres. The outstanding insulation and excellent moisture-regulating properties of down provide pleasantly warm, dry sleeping conditions. In down fillings for sleeping bags, the down is always mixed with feathers, in order to give body and durability. In the two down sleeping bag lines Goose Bay and Island, the filling is 90% goose down and 10% feathers. Since down loses its insulation properties if it becomes wet, the sleeping bag should be hung up by its loops to dry out after use. Due to this limitation, down sleeping bags can only be used in dry climates.
