Product description

Black Diamond Gridlock Screwgate Carabiner is a purpose-built screwgate carabiner for belaying designed to prevent cross-loading for safer, steadier belay setups. Its internal wiregate separates the belay loop to help the carabiner stay correctly oriented during use. A horned spine helps keep the belay device from sliding around while belaying. The result is cleaner handling and fewer distractions at the anchor or on the wall.

  • Reduces cross-loading risk by keeping the belay loop securely separated
  • Internal wiregate helps maintain correct carabiner orientation while belaying
  • Horned spine helps stop the belay device from shifting during use
  • Screwgate closure adds a secure, confidence-inspiring lock
