A durable sleeping pad, warms up well at least in cool weather, handy for the car in cold weather when the dog has to wait. The battery has lasted well at least here in >-6°C weather, for many hours on the 2nd heat setting and during driving times the ability to connect the pad directly to the car's cigarette lighter USB connector allows you to charge the battery and still keep the pad warm on long trips. The included USB A-USB A cable does not seem very cold-resistant, because it stiffens even in slight frosts, but the USB cable attached to the pad does not seem to do the same. The pocket for the battery in the pad and the USB connector there with the cable get really hot when used, which on the one hand keeps the battery warm, but on the other hand makes you wonder whether you can dare to use the pad in warmer weather, can the battery overheat? I wouldn't necessarily put my dog ​​in a closed cage with a base because of the pocket that gets hot, unless the cage is at least big enough for the base and the dog so that the dog can avoid too warm a spot if they want to. The heat setting button inside the pocket is also easy to accidentally press to a different setting if the dog can walk or lie on the pocket, as well as to turn it off completely, which needs to be taken into account when placing the base and where the battery is placed in the pocket. If the battery is in the pocket where the button is, the button can be pressed very easily by accident. I recommend a very insulating, heat-resistant base under the base, because the heating elements are not evenly distributed throughout the base. Overall, the base has felt high-quality and convenient to use, it is sturdy and feels comfortable. My dog ​​has quickly learned to appreciate it and get on it independently. It is light and really easy to carry around in a bag. The bag that came with it feels too small, especially when you think that you don't want to crush the base containing electrical components too violently. The button that can be easily accidentally pressed is a regrettable minus, as is the USB cable that can't withstand the cold, which fortunately is cheap to replace if necessary. The pocket that gets hot is a questionable minus, which has its pros and cons. As a separate product, there were also no instructions for use, except for the small instructions for the power button on the side of the package, which is a bad thing. I would have liked more detailed information, for example, about the base's moisture resistance, how close you can place a water cup, whether it is dangerous to keep a dog that urinates accidentally with the base, etc. With a product of this price, I would have expected a more in-depth instruction manual.
