The Eotech HWS EXPS3 DCR is a versatile holographic weapon sight designed for precision and speed in various shooting scenarios. Featuring the unique Danger Close Reticle (DCR), this sight ensures quick and accurate targeting at standard distances while also providing an effective aiming point for close combat situations. Excellent Eotech with this DCR reticle, It's really something different. I have also another EXPS3 sight with the original donut reticle. I think I prefer overall the DCR and also with magnification. This DCR reticle is really good because you can really focus on the 1 MOA dot. This is so much better than a red dot and most of the shooter who tried it at the range were impressed by this 1 MOA crisp dot. Most of them who has a 2 MOA red dot have to dim the luminosity to have something close to the Eotech for accuracy but the dot is then not easy to find . At the opposite, you don't have to dim your luminosity with the Eotech and you can have a really fast targuet acquisition. The big widow is also so good, the glass quality is perfect, there's no blue tint, sometimes you even think there's no glass. The QD mount as always feels good and is very solid. It holds zero everytime. Some people will say that the 1000 hours battery life is short compare to an aimpoint, but a good lithium CR123 battery is not expensive and If you turn of your eotech in storage, you won't feel the battery life is short. Depending the way you use your Eotech. I can only recommend this awesome Eotech product and this DCR reticle. I wish Eotech could offer this DCR holographic sights in TAN / OD green versions
