Mammut Performance Static 10.5mm 100m

Mammut's modern static ropes correspond to the latest EN 1891 norm and have a core-and-sheath construction similar to that of Mammut's dynamic climbing ropes.
They differ from dynamic ropes in that way they stretch under load. Mammut static ropes are the best choice when reduced elasticity is important: long stretches of abseiling, fixed ropes, traverse ropes and industrial safe ropes. Static ropes should never be used for lead climbing: in the event of a fall, the high impact force transmitted to the body as a result of the rope's lack of elongation could have serious consequences.
