Good Hoka quality. Soft and light. The purchase was easy to make in the online store, because the size corresponded perfectly to the Hoka Bondi 7

Most comfortable shoes I ever worn. Price is a little steep, and double check the size, I usually wear 42.5/43. For these I took 2 sizes bigger - 44.5

I bought it to have the size wide and to have a comfortable shoe for the winter training. it fits me better than the standard width and I can even wear some thin merino wool socks without issues. I was aware that in terms of weight it is on the heavier side (322gram/Shoe), but I am still running faster in than I thought, if course not like with a light racing shoe but ok in that respect. It dampened also very well on the road, whereas it is not a real soft cushion shoe. It is still a bit firm but also somewhat stable downhill and in curves. So overall it does what I expected from it and I am satisfied. I take the weight more as an additional training effort and will switch before some races to a lighter shoe. This being said, I cannot say something about the quality or longterm wear as I only used it now for 35km, but nothing visible so far.

I was a little surprised when the shoe looked very different from the previous model Hoka Bondi 8 Wide. The sole was much narrower. But the inside measurement was the same and it feels just as good when walking. The only shoe brand that keeps my plantar fasciitis under control. Although the durability is not the best in the world, you have to buy new ones every year and somehow it feels like this narrower sole wears out even faster than the previous model.
