The design of the frame is similar to a classic optical day sight and therefore it is a natural companion to any rifle. The Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro is meant to be particularly easy to use and mounts on standard 30mm scope rings. Installation does not require separate tools or accessories.
A thermal image sensor with a NETD value of less than 25 mK (0.025 °C) guarantees perfect separation of details even in the harshest weather conditions, when thermal contrast is low. Even the smallest temperature fluctuations stand out in the rain, fog or on cold mornings, when the conditions for thermal imaging are at their most challenging. The large and fast-aperture, germanium-coated lens keeps the thermal image good and detailed and noise is low even at the lowest radiation levels.
The high-quality F1.0 front lens together with the top-class thermal image sensor guarantees a viewing distance of up to 1350 m even in pitch darkness. The Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro has a unique dual battery system that includes both an internal and an external battery. The external additional battery extends the operating time and can be replaced in a few seconds.
The built-in Wi-Fi module works wirelessly with Android and iOS smartphones and tablets using the free Stream Vision 2 app. . A smartphone opens up unique possibilities with thermal binoculars, such as wireless firmware update, image transfer, video streaming to the Internet, remote control of the device's functions, etc. Registered users of the Stream Vision 2 application receive free cloud storage where they can save footage captured on their device.
Recoil resistance of up to 6000 joules (J) guarantees usability even with large-caliber .375 H&H, 12-caliber and 9.3x64 ammunition. The basic magnification power of Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro can be increased with digital zoom. The magnification can be changed in 3 x steps or steplessly, which achieves the most suitable visibility for each situation.
Your Thermion 2 scope supports both the older 2.4 GHz and the new 5 GHz frequency band - connecting it to your smart device is really effortless. The faster 5 GHz frequency band enables even smoother and more stable data transfer and reduces the wireless connection's susceptibility to interference, which improves the productivity of your thermal camera and makes its use as a smart device partner even more pleasant.
Aiming settings (= reset settings) are stored in shooting profiles. The Thermion 2 XQ35 Pro's memory can store up to five different shooting profiles for different weapons and ammunition. Each profile can have ten different reset distances.
Save your best viewing experiences and share them with your friends and hunting buddies. You can record an interesting moment or start video recording with one press of a button. Hours of video and thousands of photos can be stored in the device's internal 16 gigabyte memory.
The picture-in-picture function (PiP) display takes up only 10% of the image area, so the field of view is not disturbed despite two simultaneous images. The aiming area is shown enlarged at the top of the screen and the entire image area around it - the situation is completely and constantly under your control. The electronic sight image is always displayed at the same focal plane as the target. Your Thermion scope can store ten different sight picture settings (direct hit, ballistic, scalable and conventional), all available in one different color.
The selection of eight different color palettes improves visibility in different conditions, allowing you to choose the most suitable option for each situation and viewing condition. Hot white, hot black and hot red make it easier to detect the object's movement, while rainbow and ultramarine in turn emphasize the temperature differences of the objects and make identification easier. Red monochrome, sepia and violet reduce eye fatigue and are best suited for long-term night observation.
The color reproduction of the new 1024x768 pixel HD AMOLED screen is even better, it saves power, is high-contrast and fast-responsive, and produces clear and smooth images even when you're moving in the cold outdoors. Whether it's heavy rain, a snowstorm or other wet conditions, the IPX7 waterproof rating of PULSAR scopes guarantees that the device won't fail even in the wettest weather! They can even withstand immersion in a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.
