An excellent head torch for running. I bought the Superraptor variant because I wanted the additional flood+spot mode that the normal HM75R doesn't have. It works very well with the rotary wheel for switching between modes and the button for changing intensity. The headband is a good fit and snug, both directly on my head and over a hat. The unit itself is not heavy, even with the optional power extender. It gives excellent light for trail running at night, often without needing to use the highest light setting. The red light is useful too, and good to be able to access straight from a long press of the button. I've not noticed any issues with step down, but I'm often not using it on full power.
Varuste were an excellent store. Fast international shipping and very good packaging.

The light output is good and the light can be attached in a variety of ways. For example, the helmet holder was good

This is a really good headlamp. The only minus is the manufacturer's promised 2-hour operation at full power, which is not true in cold weather.

Appears to be a well manufactured headlight. It’s very simple to navigate through the different modes even with gloves on. Varuste is able to ship the light including the battery but I was not able to order a spare battery due to shipping restrictions. Battery capacity in high power was was shorter than expected.

Really good, quite short batterylife when both led at max but I use power extender most of the time and it works really well. I would like to have one or two more clicks more to adjust the angle up, now i have to lift my head up too often to look up a hill, slope or wall.

Great for trail running. Excellent spotlight, so you don't have to drive at full speed and the battery lasts. In addition, this consumes standard batteries, so it is easy and cheap to get some as a backup. Very durable structure.
On the downside, it can be a bit heavy (wasn't a problem for me) and the fact that there is no red light on the back. I myself got a separate red light for the back, so that motorists can notice it better on the highway.

The product feels sturdy and fits well on the head. The spot light is not much different from the cheaper ones, but the general light that illuminates everything is absolutely amazing in its efficiency. I have temporarily illuminated a small room with it. The controls are easy to use without seeing. With higher powers, the operating time is too short. A spare battery is a good accessory.

A good lamp, but I can't recommend it because the Superraptor 2 is much better. Now several steps have been taken backwards in the design. In comparison:
- clearly bigger and heavier
- the collar does not have a quick-tightening system, which in the previous model was excellent when changing headgear/helmets
- the collar is not reflective
- the first position of the rotary switch is high beam, which means that I myself have to scroll between lit areas and paths in vain
- the red light switches on directly from the push button, i.e. the battery may run out in the backpack
+ red light
+ slightly more efficient (but the old one is sufficient)
A couple of flowers in the marketing material: the lamp is made in China (apparently only design in Finland) and the button at the end of the rotary switch is a normal push button and not a tactile switch (thankfully!)
