Really high-quality and functional light. The battery drains quite quickly in the cold, though, so I had to order an extra battery with a cord so I could put the battery inside my jacket if needed. Then the light itself doesn't need a battery, just power from the extra battery. The wide light should be able to shine higher, the spot light should shine higher. When using the wide light with a headband, you have to raise the light more towards the crown of your head.

Incredibly good headlamp with many light patterns to vary with. Fits well on the head and easy to turn on and off. Good battery life and easy to charge, I'm finally completely satisfied with a headlamp!

Very functional crank. Not too heavy with the extra battery. I gave up on the ledlenser xeo19 model because of the weight

Powerful and high-quality headlamp. I bought the headlamp for autumn and spring day trips. I also bought an extra battery for longer hikes and ski trips. The lamp feels a little heavy, especially with the extra battery, but the battery will definitely last a long time. For long summer hikes, there could be a slightly lighter option when there is less use.

I already have experience with the previous version. This new one is better in many ways, the only downside is the change from quick-release to a more traditional solution.

The clear number one of all the lamps I own. Clear user interface, fits well, light, great light output. It does drain the battery fairly quickly, but that's part of the problem. It's unlikely that there will be another lamp in the next few years that would surpass this lamp.

A good headlamp that provides both wide and long light. Can be used separately or both together.
The battery life is quite short and drops significantly in the cold. With an extra battery in your pocket, you can take a longer forest walk in the dark and feel safe and secure.

An excellent head torch for running. I bought the Superraptor variant because I wanted the additional flood+spot mode that the normal HM75R doesn't have. It works very well with the rotary wheel for switching between modes and the button for changing intensity. The headband is a good fit and snug, both directly on my head and over a hat. The unit itself is not heavy, even with the optional power extender. It gives excellent light for trail running at night, often without needing to use the highest light setting. The red light is useful too, and good to be able to access straight from a long press of the button. I've not noticed any issues with step down, but I'm often not using it on full power.
Varuste were an excellent store. Fast international shipping and very good packaging.
