The product is quite good and the features meet expectations. However, there are a bit too many of them, and after a longer break you have to wonder how to turn on the red light. The attachment mechanism to the collar is a bit strange, and one could imagine that it could be optimized to be more minimalistic.

I live in the country with a dog and needed a good lamp for morning and evening walks. I previously used a headlamp from Petzl which lit up the immediate area well. But since there is a lot of wildlife around, I wanted a lamp that gave light both from a distance and in the immediate area. I started searching for such a lamp online and then found the Fenix site which seemed reputable and bought an HM75R Superraptor 3. I have been using it for a few weeks and am very happy with how it lights up the surroundings (which was the most important thing for me) and how it sits on my head. It is of course heavier than my previous lamp, but nothing that bothers me. The lamp feels well built and its functions are easy to learn.

A serious headlamp, certainly not very light but solid and powerful.

In my opinion, the best headlamp in terms of configuration. I like this better than the standard HM75R because it has both throw and flood together and also I can access the red light without scrolling through the blinding throw light. If keeping your night vision by using the red light, then there is no point if you have to get blinded by the throw light before accessing the red light.

The red light is good, as is the USB-C charging. There should be a function here to turn on the weak white light first (cf. lumonite compass).

This headlamp is only available in Finland I think. So I ordered from Varuste and had a really good experience. Delivered to NZ. Headlamp got really good reviews--the Superraptor 3 is an improvement on the base model available in the rest of the world. Thanks. Highly recommend product and seller.

Good light. Battery life could be better. Unnecessary adjustments.
