Works well as a technical hiking shirt. It doesn't absorb moisture, dries quickly, is lightweight, and offers sun protection. The zippered chest pockets are a plus; they are a bit small, but a phone fits in just barely. Tested for two weeks in the steppes, deserts, and mountains of Azerbaijan.

By throwing it in as the number one shirt in the closet, at least for the summer season. The fabric is light, but sturdy, and breathes well. It doesn't collect odors much, I wore it for a week straight on a trip pulled straight from the freezer. The zippered chest pockets work well, the zipper pulls don't have that traditional big metal piece rattling and rubbing, just strings are a surprisingly good alternative. You can also stuff a surprisingly large amount of stuff into the pockets before it starts to hang annoyingly. Bought according to the size chart, and it fits even a more stocky person, where other shirts start to tighten the shoulders. It is worth noting that the ventilation channels on the back are completely open and not made of mesh fabric, the tropical beetles slip inside through it (in Finland, mosquitoes do get theirs right through the shirt).
