I've tried fox logos and about five other brands of pants. I've always come back from trips looking for the perfect pair of hiking pants again.
My first thoughts about the pants when I got them were: these won't last on trails. I hiked a good 50km on rough, trailless, broken terrain. I was absolutely sure that I would make the return train journey in tattered pants. The big surprise came at the first difficult transition. The pants didn't fall apart. My hike was about 130km, of which 50km was trailless. When I got there, the pants were like new. No signs of wear, nothing at all.
They dry ultra-fast, durable, light, and don't make you sweat. The only small minus is the drawstring system, which is inconvenient in a pinch and when you're going, a weak knot comes loose and the pants leak. However, I learned to live with this little inconvenience on the trip.
Really, really full five stars. If you're going on a hike and wondering which pants to get, stop wondering and buy these. It wasn't an ad.
