Hiked upto Olpererhutte with this, no complaints! Took a couple of wears for the shoe to adjust to my feet, but been very comfortable since. Only complaint was regarding the delivery process. It was held up in a GLS packstation for a couple of weeks, but when I called and asked them what the issue was they delivered it the next day.

The Hoka Kaha 3 GTX men’s hiking shoes are a step up from Hoka Kaha 2. The Kaha 3 are more comfortable when walking distances greater than 8 km. It is definitely worthwhile to go up a size or 2 from the walking / running shoes for comfort and the addition of bulkier socks for hiking.

The cushion is thick and provides nice cushioning on the feet. Front of the shoes are angled up so when walking, there is a feeling of falling forward. Needs abit of getting used to this forward falling feeling. The uppers are soft and does not require any break in period to be comfortable.
