This is my first pair of waterproof Lone Peak. As a first impression I can say they don't feel as roomy as the older non-waterproof Lone Peak models (would recommend a full size larger than your usual size as opposed to half a size for the older models). They are very warm so would definitely recommend them for temperatures under 10 C. They feel a bit stiffer than the older Lone Peaks but also sturdier as construction. The inner fabric is quite slippery so they have to be worn in a heel lock tie otherwise your foot tends to slip forward. Did not get to test the waterproofing yet.
— Show originalThe shoes are comfortable and there is nothing to complain about in terms of waterproofness. Fits a slightly wider foot like mine. The sole has good grip even on wet forest paths. Unfortunately, the fabric around the ankle wore out after about a month of use. Something about the design of this particular shoe model doesn't work for me, because I haven't seen a similar problem with other pairs of shoes, past or present. It may work better for someone else, but based on my own experience, I can't recommend it.Brand
