Comfortable and functional socks. Feels and looks high-quality in every way. Everything is carefully and solidly made. So the price/quality is right. These are not at the top of the price range at all, but it is still difficult to find anything to complain about. The wiring and heating elements are designed and placed in such a way that they are not susceptible to mechanical damage during foot movements and in areas of high load.
I especially appreciate that the batteries are "powerbank" type with a 5V output and a USB-C connection, so they can be used for many other things than just these socks: for example as a power source for a phone, etc. Big thumbs up for this! Many other manufacturers have enviously customized their batteries so that the battery + product are inseparable and interdependent.
The stated battery life times are on the high end and probably only apply to laboratory conditions. In real life, in minus ten degrees Celsius, the actual values are 6h/4h/2h, depending on the power setting. So for a full-day trip, you will need other batteries in your pocket, and you can buy more separately. Or you can take any large power bank in your pocket and run the extension cords through the legs to the socks. It's easy when you have the USB-C world in use!
Actually, the only downside to the socks is the sensitivity of the power control buttons. The power control can change unintentionally if you even slightly wiggle the ski pole, tighten the leg, etc. But there is a clear and intuitive button: you can easily see what power is going on by the vibration. Even the highest power is moderate and gives a natural feeling of warmth. Don't expect these to make your toes glow, you can't compare them to, for example, a car seat heater.
From my own experience, I would say that the most significant benefit is that these prevent your toes from going into "cold shock", but maintain natural blood circulation and warmth. The better the insulation in the shoes, the better they perform. So the point is not to try to replace proper winter shoes with these, but to help cold-sensitive feet. And if you want to warm up cold feet on the couch at home, put on some wool socks over them, and the effect will be significantly enhanced.
