Saimaa Kayaks' two-person Sit On Top 2 (SOT) open kayak is a real kayak for the whole family, where you can also fit a child in the middle between the benches. There is no need to worry about tipping over with the sit-on-top 2 kayak, as the SOT 2 is the widest and most stable kayak in our collection at 86cm wide. The frame is made of durable polyethylene and the kayak has no removable fins or rudder or other parts that can be lost or broken, so its use is very carefree. The SOT 2 is an excellent choice as an easy all-purpose kayak for a cottage or rental company.

The “Sit on top” kayak is perfect for people who don’t want to climb into a small opening or feel uncomfortable sitting inside a wobbly kayak. The stable Sit on top 2 kayak is easy to get into from the dock and go for a kayaking trip, and it doesn’t require any previous kayaking experience.

The kayak can be used with or without the soft seats included in the equipment package; the bottom has a shaped seating area with a low backrest for the lower back. Both paddlers have a bottle holder in front of the bench within easy reach and a waterproof storage hatch where valuables can be conveniently stored. The Avokayak has a bungee net at the back, under which it is easy to attach camping equipment. The Avokayak also has perforated rod/bait racks behind the rear bench, so fishing is also possible with the sit on top 2.

The Avokajak has handy paddle racks on the sides, where you can store your paddles when taking a break or doing other activities where you need your hands free. The kayak has carrying handles at both ends, as well as recessed handles in the middle, so it is easy to move the kayak with two people. The frame is made of strong polyethylene, which can withstand bottom contact and possible impacts on rocks and piers on the shore.

The equipment package includes two lightweight, two-piece, aluminum paddles with plastic blades, which are 240cm long and weigh 980g. The paddle shaft has a grip for the right hand, three different blade angle adjustments, and water runoff prevention on the blade. The paddle gives you a very comfortable grip and a good feel for paddling.
