Pedals with a solid feel, the foot will definitely not slip by accident - it would be nice if these also had shorter spikes, so that there would be an intermediate option between aggressive spikes and spikeless use. Of course, you might be able to find suitable screws at a hardware store

They seem like really nice pedals. Previous experience with Shimano PD-GR500 pedals. These are a little lighter and at least so far it hasn't felt worse in terms of grip. It could be a little cheaper.
