By rotating a few CN-M8100 chains, they last significantly longer than, for example, the M7100 model. I currently have three in rotation; even after 2,285 and 1,953 km of riding, the links haven't loosened enough to register any measurable wear on Park Tool chain checkers (using two different models). I always treat the chains with Rex Black Diamond hot wax after every 500–800 km of riding.
