On Mt Whitney mountaineering route, I first time used it. It does provide light weight experience, but.....: 1. When the bottom belt was mixed with snow and became icy, it's not able to easily adjust it. 2. The buckle cannot be secured lock the strip on the position and difficult to tighten it. 3. The lever kept backward off when stepped on the rocky surface, even though I had tighten the buckle and strip on the ankle firmly. The above issues might also caused by the hiking boot moab 3 itself. Moab 3/low-cut hiking boot is not ideally match this crampon. the toe area is elastic and soft making the crampon fastening front-to-end hard.

The item is easy to attach to the running shoes, providing additional stability while running on slippery mud
