This is the VIBRAM effect incorporated into the sole of the Nature One GTX high.

Haix uses UK sizes in their shoes and translates them to EU sizes in a slightly unusual way, using plain flat sizes as euro sizes in both shoes and shoe boxes. So, for example, UK 5 and UK 5.5 shoes both say EU 39, even though UK 5.5 corresponds to EU 39.5. Applies to all Haix shoes and all half EU sizes.
