Product description

Tailored for avid two-wheeled adventurers, the Hubba Hubba Bikepack 2 tent is an enhanced version of the acclaimed Hubba Hubba backpacking tent, specifically catering to the needs of bikepackers. Ideal for short jaunts or extensive journeys, this tent serves as a cozy home-away-from-home, offering comfort at camp and streamlined compatibility on the handlebars.

The tent boasts a true rectangular floor with no foot taper, ensuring ample space for gear, and 42 inches of headroom for comfortable sitting. The tent body, a mix of mesh and solid fabric, provides a perfect blend of airflow, privacy, and weather protection. The no-curve tent doors are equipped with user-friendly zippers, easily operable with one hand and zip closed to a single point for convenient use in the dark. Tech-friendly pockets with cable ports and large overhead gear loft pockets add to the convenience. An interior clothesline and an optional exterior clothesline are included for hanging damp gear.

The symmetrical tent design facilitates quick setup, particularly handy in unforeseen rainstorms. Strong and lightweight DAC poles are perfectly sized for handlebar storage, making them suitable for kayak campers as well. The waterproof coating and taped seams ensure stability and dryness in various weather conditions. The stealth-green rainfly comes with extra-large vestibules for external gear storage. The vestibule doors feature StayDry rain gutters to divert dripping water, and kickstand vents enhance airflow.

The meticulously designed waterproof handlebar storage bag accommodates flat or drop bars and includes optional spacers to prevent interference with other items. Reflective logos enhance road visibility, and loops allow for additional gear attachment. The compact size ensures easy fitment in panniers, frame bags, or backpacks.

In summary, the Hubba Hubba Bikepack offers a minimal impact on handlebars while delivering exceptional comfort, livability, and features at camp, making it the perfect companion for cycling duos exploring diverse terrains.
  • Designed to attach seamlessly to flat or drop bars, the streamlined tent bag is seam-taped and waterproof
  • Removable spacers ‘float’ the bag away from handlebars to free up real estate for hands or accessories, and a headtube bungee keeps things stable off-road
  • Designed with shorter segments, strong DAC poles fold up small to fit easily between drops
  • Packed tent is designed for minimal volume so you can stuff it into small spaces like a pannier, frame bag or backpack
  • True rectangular floorplan and exceptional head room (42 in/1.07 m); large side-entry vestibules to store gear
  • PEU fabric coating and taped seams keep the elements outside where they belong
  • Two large StayDry doors with built-in rain gutters and kickstand vents for extra ventilation
  • Interior and optional exterior clotheslines, plus oversized storage pockets, make it easy to dry sweaty or rain-drenched gear so you’re ready to roll the next day
  • Cable ports on all pockets for easy cord management
  • Unified hub-and-pole system and symmetrical design make setup super quick; ultra-compact stuff sack
  • Leave the fly off and watch the stars through the top mesh window
  • Reinforced patches, stitching at guy points and locking anodized stake loop grommets for extra strength
  • Compatible with the Universal 2 Person Regular Footprint, sold separately

I haven't had a chance to test it yet. It seems really good quality. Small package and light tent.

One night tested, excellent accommodation! Two people can comfortably sit inside. In the rain, it can be difficult to get the tent up without getting the inner tent wet (despite the footprint). On the other hand, very quick to set up.
