The Lowa Renegade Evo LL Mid is designed to offer the perfect fit, taking comfort and functionality to the next level. This men's hiking boot features a single-piece material for the inside of the forefoot area, eliminating unnecessary seams and allowing the nubuck leather to flexibly adjust to the shape of the wearer's foot. This design reduces friction and relieves pressure on the big toe joint. The dual-zone lacing system, with redesigned locking hooks, allows for easy adjustments to meet individual needs.
This trekking shoe boasts a newly designed sole package with a directly injected midsole made of two impact-absorbing components. The first layer is made of Lowa DynaPU, and the second is a firmer element that works with the Cross Over Frame to provide optimal guidance. The Vibram Rene Trac sole ensures dependable grip on various terrains, featuring a self-cleaning, multidirectional profile and a distinctive heel edge for comfortable ascents and descents.
The Lowa Renegade Evo LL Mid combines innovative design and high-quality materials to provide hikers with unmatched comfort, support, and durability, making it an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts.

After researching extensively to find the most suitable hiking boot for my needs, I decided the Lowa Renegade Evo LL (without Gore-Tex, for better sweat wicking in dry climates, like that of southern Spain) was the right choice. The product met all my expectations; it felt comfortable from day one thanks to its leather lining. The size was also perfect—the boot is neither too big nor too tight. I have a small bunion on my right foot and was unsure whether this model or the wider one (W) would be better.
The only problem is that the heel counter on the left boot presses on my Achilles tendon, causing severe pain that makes hiking impossible, as the pain starts within the first five minutes. I understand this isn't a manufacturing defect because it only happens on the left foot, while the right foot is perfectly comfortable and stable. I've also come across comments on internet forums about the same problem with this same boot model, so perhaps it's a design issue.
Although I haven't seen a podiatrist, I've noticed that my ankles are exactly the same size and the joint height is also the same, so I don't understand why one side hurts and the other doesn't. It's a biomechanical thing, I suppose.
As for the service from the Varuste store, everything went well. I made the payment and received my order without any problems within a week, shipped from Finland to Malaga.

Very high-quality impression, as you can expect from Lowa shoes. Four stars instead of five for two reasons. The sole of the shoe and the space of the toes have a textile lining, not a leather lining as stated in the description of the shoe. The soles of the shoes keep a completely incomprehensible sound when walking on any floor material when wet, of course this feature is not evident outside.
