3-in-1 multi-purpose device (pulley, self jamming pulley, rope clamp).

- Efficient and compact, aluminum sheave mounted on a self-lubricating bearing.
- Toothed cam with self-cleaning slot: works even on frozen or muddy ropes.
- Cam can be locked in open position so device can be used as a simple pulley.
- Can be used to ascend a rope.
- Efficiency: 71 %
- Working load as pulley only: 2.5 kN x 2 = 5 kN
- Breaking strength as pulley only: 10 kN x 2 = 20 kN

Protraxion's little brother, very suitable for light (<40kg) hugging. Higher loads should be taken with Protraxio for better efficiency. Minitraxion is very well suited for a top rope solo and is the only thing Petzl even recommends for that activity. Much safer option than the riser handle, even catches when the tooth is off the rope! Also works well in running Belay climbing to ensure a runner-up falls.
