The basic idea of the clipstick is good and the clips are easy to operate. The build quality and concept also seem well thought-out at first glance. However, the pole became permanently deformed during its very first use; since then, it has been very difficult to extend and retract, making it essentially a waste of money. To be fair, I have to admit that part of the deformation was probably caused by me fully extending the pole while it was on the ground and then lifting it up. When I complained, the manufacturer replied that the sections should be extended one by one while holding the pole vertically. I can understand that point. Nevertheless, the main problem remains for me: when fully extended, the pole is hardly usable in a practical sense because it becomes extremely wobbly and unstable. It sags significantly under the normal weight of a quickdraw and the rope. This causes so much swaying that precise clipping becomes almost impossible. If a product with a length of 6.45 m is marketed for climbing use (which I take to include the weight of the rope and quickdraw), then in my opinion, that length should actually be usable in a realistic way. Otherwise, the design should be more stable or the maximum length should be shorter.

Nice to work with. Mayby a little fiddly when releasing a QD from the wall.

Expensive and not most durable system

Feels a bit flimsy but hopefully will serve for years to come.

Stick is doing the job great, the onlh problem is that it is too long and does not fit into any backpack or suitcase when travelling for climbing trips

Bit too bulky id definently buy.more compact one in future than ultra long

Really handy for safe climbing. In some places, it's big enough for a third bolt.
