I bought this to replace a similar jacket I bought about 10 years ago (which no longer holds water). This was much looser than my old jacket even though I chose the size according to the size chart (I took the S size, I usually wear an S or a small M), maybe the XS would have been more fitting, even though the chart clearly classified me as an S size (and my postpartum waist an even bigger size) . Well, you can fit a sweater in between if necessary. The sleeves could also have been a little longer, I missed the fireman sleeves of the old jacket. The zipper, on the other hand, seems more durable (and it's wider) than in the old jacket and the pockets are bigger and yet this jacket also packs into a small space. A plus is that the hood doesn't have rubber bands that get tangled everywhere. I've only had time to use this once for a walk (had water), but at least the old Paclite was excellent (necessary!) for cycling in the rain: any other rain jacket gets too hot.
