Great wide-toed hiking boots, but at one point the foot presses to the side. This seems like a manufacturing error, because there is a bump inside the shoe that you can't control yourself. Otherwise, they work perfectly.

On the seller's recommendation, I bought them as hiking boots. Good shoes in the sense that the feet were no longer squeezed and they are light and comfortable. The downside is that the low-arm gore-tex shoes are not suitable for rainy, wet and challenging open downhill conditions (membrane shoes are a must there due to the damp and cold weather). The socks get wet from the stem (even though the mouths of the legs are protected with waterproof pants) and water constantly gets into the shoes. In the past, I have had "normal" hiking shoes with long sleeves, when water never got into the shoes. Fortunately, these new shoes, as well as the merino wool socks, dried quickly in the dry weather. I did know before the purchase that you have to be careful with short-soled shoes, but it doesn't help when it's raining in a strong wind in a horizontal plane and crossing even a small wet sole is challenging. I would be interested to know how far the gore-tex protection of these shoes goes, I suspect that it ends pretty early on when the laces are put on. There is a "deceitful" corner in the corner where the lacing ends, from which water gets into the shoe very easily, so the ankle shaft, which is about 3 cm high, is a complete "cheat", which only tightens the laces and does not protect against getting wet in any way.

Having worn barefoot shoes for a long time, I was looking for hiking shoes with a wide last, but still with some sole and cushioning. Fortunately, a salesperson happened to be there and recommended Altra shoes. Great shoes! Really comfortable on the feet, Goretex works, tested in mud puddles. There should have been more than one color option, but they are a nice color in light. We'll see how long the color stays cool. Good shoes, I recommend.

Very good, wide sole, also suitable for duck flappers. Thanks to the knowledgeable seller for the recommendation, he took the time to search and suggest a suitable shoe.
The color of the shoe is just awful, but it doesn't hinder the ride. I only recommend walking in the dark or on trails where there are no others.

A big toe forced me to go to shoe stores.
The shoe has a really wide last where the inflamed foot could fit without any problems.
The shoes are extremely light.
The feel of the step and the rolliness of the step were the biggest surprise when I took my first steps.
the feet are in the cotton and there is no impact on the foot when stepping.
The shoes have a really good feel to the base and are not the most slippery.
Perfect strollers for daily dog walks in varied terrain.
I definitely recommend giving it a chance and being honest about how the shoes feel on your feet.
