A really nice jacket. Soft and quiet. My absolute favorite at the moment. The jacket can definitely be used in autumn, winter and spring.
Good and large enough pockets. Good zippers that can be used with gloves on. Nice big hood.
I expected the jacket to be super warm and could only be used in -30...-10C. But the jacket works in +3C when walking the dog if there is only a short-sleeved shirt underneath. It keeps the wind out very well and feels more breathable than the OR Allies Colossus pants. This was a positive surprise as I expected it to easily get hot and sweaty in the jacket.
I have only been able to use the jacket in -5C, so the real frost tests will be done next winter (2025-2026). It will probably work with a merino layer in -30C.
The only feature that bothers me a little is the tight and high neck area if you pull the zipper all the way up, but I understand why this design was made. On the other hand, it provides nice protection from wind, snow and cold and you don't necessarily need to wear a Buff underneath.
