Nosht beloved energy chews just got upgraded! Jollos energy chews are basically the same deliciously soft melt-in-the-mouth chews as the "Vauhtikarkki" chews are. Only the shape and packaging have changed. Plus Nosht added a bit more re-balancing electrolytes to the mix.

These tasty chews are created as an energy supplement for when you’re going hard. For endurance sessions, half-time fuelling or fast reps, you need fast energy that’s easy to use and motivates you to give your best.

The unique thing about Jollos chews is that they’ve got a physical form factor that allows them to be loaded and held up in the stomach. As they’re digested, they provide fast energy. If you’ve ever gotten sick from energy gels, it’s because syrupy things like energy gels tend to empty from the stomach faster than the gut can absorb. It tastes good and feels good. But I don't know if these are worth the high price per kilo compared to even a regular marmalade-sweetened one. Of course, it may be a different matter when exercising at the extremes and when used by professional athletes, so to speak. But for a regular exerciser, it's not necessarily a very necessary item for a regular fitness run. If your oxygen uptake is low and your muscle condition is weak, then these won't make you a Super-Hessu. But despite that, I'll take these with me on a long trip: if not otherwise, then for summiting the fell and for energy supply errors.
