The shoes seem good otherwise, but the soles of the first ones started to come off after about 10 uses. Let's hope it's just a one-off defect and the new ones I received under warranty will work fine.

This shoe is really fun! I recommend ordering half a size larger for a little more toe room, which also provides better warmth. This sturdy shoe is comfortable, very warm, and has a non-slip tread (which also looks good) that makes you want to go for a walk in Antarctica 😉

Excellent shoes! A big plus is the higher than usual shoe shafts. They are necessary when I cycle through the winter. They also support the ankle well, and make walking more stable. The grippy soles are okay, but they certainly don't compare to studded shoes. I would give them a full five stars, but I don't really like the lace hooks. Those two pairs at the top of the lacing, otherwise there are holes for the laces. The lace hooks are "clumsy" in terms of lacing. My laces have come undone sometimes.

Good and versatile winter shoes for active movement. They work well for walking on snow, but also for snowshoeing. The shoe is surprisingly light and I'm happy to take a few running steps with them if necessary. I've only used them in temperatures of -10C and higher, but I would think these would easily handle at least -20C if you're on the move. Then there are different shoes for standing still. Only limited experience with the friction sole on ice, but it felt surprisingly good, although I was a little skeptical beforehand. The construction also feels durable, although the reflective prints started to wear off on the snowshoe straps after 50km of snowshoeing. The gaiter loop was too small for the hook of my own gaiters. The size is so large that I think these are slightly long, compared to, for example, Salomon. I fit 44 in Merrell running shoes, 44 2/3 in Salomon, and 44.5 in New Balance. I chose size 44.5, which will fit a thin+normal sock and leave a little space at the toe for warmth.
