It does its job. I attached the tent to the front rack of the bike with two of these straps and it stayed in place well the whole way, rain or shine. The material stretches a little, just enough to tighten. I'm taking off one star because the straps should have some kind of loop to thread extra ones through.

Yes, now I had to get the real wolf of wolves. Of course, it could be that I don't know how to use it or I got it for the wrong purpose. The idea was to bikepack with Fillar and have stuff "tied" on board. No elasticity, can't get it properly tight, the buckle system feels a bit awkward, the end stays loose and trying to use a buddy to secure the end wasn't very good. I went back to the inner tube loops, which I had previously adjusted myself. An expensive experiment and hopefully I'll come across a need that they are suitable for. I can't even give half a star.

I think it could be longer

really useful products, I've been looking for something like this in a long time. I mean, the idea is super simple but yet very handy and you can use in different bikes and different positions. I have many dry bags so I only needed straps to carry on those couple of bags without the need of purchasing a tailored item from one of the major brands. I recommend to use it though with things you do not need to repeatedly take from your bike during the day (i.e. jackets, shirts, etc.). It works great for sleeping bags, tents and sleeping mattresses.

Pretty stiff strap and rough surface, but gets the job done. Black Diamond's equivalents are harder to handle.

Elastic and strong strap, which is why it stays tighter than a standard nylon loose strap. On the other hand, the lock may come loose here if the strap loosens or wobbles.
