This is Lundhags most technical hardwearing boot with women's specific fit, with a slightly wider last and a more spacious toe box. Suitable for more demanding hiking, preferably in untracked terrain and for those carrying slightly heavier packs.
Mira II has a high shaft made of Nubuck leather, with a midlayer in insulating Ariaprene and a leather lining. The lower part is very durable and effectively protects the foot from rocks, sharp edges and moisture. Made from Certech Exp, which consists of a waterproof outer layer in Liba Smart, a midlayer in insulating and shock absorbing EVA and an inner layer of microfiber for comfort. The boot is equipped with a Vibram Traction sole with a rugged pattern, a protective toe cap and a heel wedge for maximum shock absorption.

Good to know for people familiar with Lundhags: the Bark Black is the new model with the new last! The teagreen Mira that is sold elsewhere has the old last.
In this respect good to know, because with my a bit wider foot with higher instep it was impossible (!) to get into the bark black without pain! So this version has a very low shaft, the last is called "Regular Ws".
However, the old last "Opti Ws" in Teagreen fits a wide, high instep, like mine.
Also useful to know is that Lundhags measurement chart is inaccurate by ~6mm! Lundhags writes at size 37, 25.3cm, but in reality it is ~24.6cm....exactly one size smaller.
On a side note:
Also, the new "Wide Ws" last (in Lundhags High Professional Wide) does not fit a wide woman's foot with a high instep, because this model also has a very, very low instep. Here it was impossible to even begin to get into the shoe.
So the new lasts are unfortunately completely unsuitable for slightly wider, higher women's feet!!
