Product description

A long-shaft winter boot with removable felt lining. Kaira is suitable for hiking, ice fishing and other demanding winter use.

An extra reinforcement has been added to the toe part. The boot has a built-in groove for cross-country ski bindings. The outsole offers good grip on all terrains, and it can be studded. The boots feature a durable, fast-drying polyester lining and a removable felt lining containing 80% wool. Kaira removable felt linings are also available as an accessory. The adjustable collar keeps out snow and debris.

A spacious model that fits wider feet well.

Handmade of cold-resistant butyl rubber. The boots have been certified for work use in accordance with EN ISO 20345.

Nokian Footwear sizing is somewhat roomier compared to walking shoes and contains room for a woollen sock. Adults’ shoes should have a toe allowance of 5 mm, because toes move forward when walking. In addition to this 5-mm toe allowance.

The rubber is a bit thin compared to the old Wildmarks, but they have worked quite well for ski touring. The Wildmarks lasted 20 years. These probably won't last.

Good boots, work well for skiing. Felt lining tends to get lumpy so it's worth putting it on before putting the boots on. These don't rub behind the heel like the same size Naalit ones that I already found.

A fair size and fits even a thick calf. You have to put them on more carefully with the felt boot, but you can also use them without. Durability remains to be seen, but I'm satisfied at this point, a couple of weeks after purchasing. The first long-sleeved rubber boots that even a medium-thick calf fits into the boot and doesn't get bunched up.

The felt liner has become thinner since the old days, when the liner retained its shape. Thin liners get worn out when you put your feet into the boots. So you have to put the boots on in two stages: First the liners and then the boots themselves. Therefore, they are not suitable for winter activities in the yard of a holiday home, where you need to put the boots on and off many times during the day.
