Born in Finland, Karhu has long celebrated a rich history rooted in love and admiration for the outdoors. As early as the 1930s, Karhu products such as hiking shoes, backpacks, tents, canoes, and paddles were prominently featured in Finnish sporting goods catalogues. This same adventurous spirit of yesteryear still guides our design process to this day as the brand-new Fusion XC looks to carry on Karhu’s proud outdoor legacy.
The Fusion XC is offered in three outdoor- inspired colourways. Aztec / Jet Black invokes the palette of the 1996 Karhu Apache and utilizes HydroGuard®, a breathable, waterproof membrane designed to keep your feet cool and dry. Gunmetal / Jet Black and Smoke Pine / Dark Forest also features HydroGuard®. For increased comfort on milder days, the Abbey Stone / Gunmetal colourway instead uses nylon mesh with suede overlays.

Where are the shoes made or designed, I guess there's nothing more Finnish than the name?Sorry that the product information is not in Finnish. The shoes feature "HydroGuard®, a breathable, waterproof membrane designed to keep your feet cool and dry.". Karhu's headquarters and product design are still carried out in Finland, but manufacturing is carried out in other countries.Brand
