Product description
Tämmösellä räätälöidyllä PADI-luokituspaketilla pääsee jo hyvin kiinni Suomi-sukelluksen maailmaan peruskurssin jälkeen.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver(AOWD):

Exploration, Excitement, Experiences

That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.

Who should take this course?

PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers who are at least 12 years old are ready to step up and enroll in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. Young divers may only participate in certain Adventures Dives – check with your PADI Instructor.

If you’re already an Adventure Diver, you only need to complete two more Adventure Dives to earn the Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

What will you learn?

You’ll plan your learning path with your instructor by choosing from a long list of Adventure Dives. There are two required dives – Deep and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives.

During the Deep Adventure Dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other knowledge and skills you get vary with your interest and the adventures you have – photography, buoyancy control, fish identification, exploring wrecks and many more.

Requirements to attend PADI AOWD-course with Diving School Aalto:
-PADI OWD-certification - or similiar from another organization
-PADI Dry Suit Speciality- certification- or similiar from another organization

How can you start learning now?

Come and visit us to enroll in the course, get your materials and start learning.
Read the Adventures in Diving manual and do the homework. Your PADI Instructor will meet with you to schedule knowledge review sessions along with your Adventure Dives.

What scuba gear will you use?

Beyond using basic scuba equipment, you’ll need a compass and dive knife or dive tool. You’ll also use specialized gear depending on the Adventure Dives you choose. For example, you’d obviously use a dry suit for the Dry Suit Adventure Dive or a sidemount configuration during the Sidemount Adventure Dive. Your PADI Instructor will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear, such as dive light for night diving or lift bag for search and recovery diving.

PADI Dry Suit Diver:

PADI Dry Suit Diver Course

Why should I take this course?

New to diving in Finland? Want to stay warm while diving? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive with a dry suit. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

What will you learn?

The first thing you’ll discover is which dry suit style and accompanying undergarments are right for you and the diving you’ll do. Then you’ll learn how to take care of your dry suit. During two open water dives, in addition to one confined water dive, you’ll practice:

  • Putting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance.
  • Mastering buoyancy control using your dry suit.
  • Dive safety procedures when using a dry suit.
The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your Advanced Open Water Diver certification – ask your instructor about earning credit and how this certifivcation helps you towards the most wanted Master Scuba Diver -certification.

What equipment will I need?

PADI Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox):

PADI Enriched Air.

Who should take this course?

The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI’s most popular specialty scuba course. Why? Because scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.

If you’re a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Note that in some regions the minimum age is older than 12.

What will you learn?

You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations. During a practical session, and two optional (or required) scuba dives, you’ll:

• Discuss managing oxygen exposure.

• Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.

• Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

How can you start learning now?
Contact us and get your studying material today! Read the Enriched Air Diver Manual and watch the Enriched Air Diving video.

There are two ways on completing the course:

1] Theory only. You study independently the course material which you will discuss with your PADI Enriched Air instructor at your theory evening. We will be also getting into gas analysing, dive planning with various gas mixes and get deeper into diving with enriched air - the advantages and on the other hand, hazards. The theory lesson together with independent study will provide you the knowledge needed to purchase Nitrox -gas and conduct Nitrox dives independently with your buddy.

2] You can also book two Nitrox dives with your Enriched Air Instructor. This will deepen you knowledge and increase confidence and experience in enriched air and generally in diving. Very recommended and adds loads of fun to the course as well. You will agree on the open waters' diving day together with your instructor and the other participants during the course.

What gear will you use?

Most modern scuba equipment and dive computers can be used with enriched air, but your PADI Instructor will let you know if your gear meets manufacturer recommendations and local requirements. However, scuba tanks must meet oxygen service standards and be dedicated for use with enriched air. You’ll practice using oxygen analyzers and special cylinder decals. Your PADI Dive Center staff will explain other equipment you may need to enjoy enriched air diving.

Just to get you in the mood, enjoy!

By buying this product bundle, you will save 50,00 € compared to buying the products separately.
