The biggest secret of hybrid rods lies in their rod blanks, which are made using the unique Patriot® HFT (Hybrid Fiber Technology) free technology, which combines sensitivity, durability and power in a completely new way. Lightweight and long-throwing carbon fiber rods combined with a delicate but virtually unbroken HFT tip are something not previously seen in traditional casting rods. Thanks to the longitudinal fibers running around the rod, the Hybrid rods are stronger, yet lighter and more flexible than traditional rods.
