Product description

Breathable, adaptable, and resilient, the Xenair Alpine Jacket is filled with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active+ to keep you warm and comfortable throughout a range of pursuits in changeable winter weather. The synthetic insulation is fast-drying in damp conditions, and body-mapped to effectively regulate your temperature and retain heat when you’re static. The result is a jacket which is perfect for layering up on a chilly belay ledge yet highly breathable during high-energy, stop-start activities.

The Xenair Alpine is prepared for any kind of ascent, with a two-way zip so you can wear it with a harness, and a helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak to shield your face from the elements. The hook and loop adjustable cuffs are compatible with gloves and help seal out spindrift. When you’re spending long periods with your arms overhead, the sleeves are articulated to prevent the jacket riding up, and the convenient hand and chest pockets are positioned for easy access mid-climb.

Built with Pertex Quantum Air fabric to balance breathability and weather protection and finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR, the Xenair Alpine Jacket thrives in winter conditions, whether you’re pushing for the summit or taking shelter at the top.
  • Helmet compatible hood with stiffened peak, semi-elasticated face opening and a single rear hood adjustment
  • 2 way YKK VISLON front zip with insulated zip baffle and chin guard
  • 2 YKK concealed zipped hand pockets
  • 2 YKK concealed zip chest pockets
  • Elasticated gusset at the cuff for optimum fit and hook and loop closure for use with gloves
  • Articulated sleeves for mobility

According to the manufacturer's measurement chart, my measurements are bust M, arm length XS, waist XL. The jacket is a size M. The waist is tight, but otherwise it fits perfectly. Long model. Really good pockets and pocket zippers are a big plus. Surprisingly warm considering its lightness. I think this will do well in a few degrees below zero, even if you don't move much. The hood is a good size, so the helmet fits well under it.
